SwimForIt! is a non-competitive swimming club based at Halesowen Leisure Centre providing teachining to improve children's water skills.
The club offer teaching sessions on a Sunday afternoon for a duration of one hour in the main pool or for 45 minutes in the learner pool for beginners. Sessions are held during term time only with sessions resuming the Sunday before start of term.
Whilst being taught to improve their water skills children are encouraged to achieve ASA award badges and have the option to be tested for their next level award every few months.
Very few schools offer swimming lessons every year let alone every week and yet it is a safe and easy way to exercise, have fun, learn and achieve awards.
