Swimming Badges and Awards

Whilst being coached to improve their water skills children are encouraged to achieve ASA award badges and have the option to be tested for their next level award every few months.

The ASA awards that are tested by the club are:

Advanced swimmers can continue with the ASA Challenge Awards

ASA Challenge Bronze Award

ASA Challenge Silver Award

ASA Challenge Gold Award

ASA Challenge Honours Award

In addition distance awards can be gained at the annual sponsored swim, the STA distance awards are:

10m, 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1000m, 1500m, 1 mile, 2000m 2500m, 3000m, 4000m and 5000m.
