Club Membership
SwimForIt! is open to children from 4 years of age up to their 18th birthday. To be eligible to join the club a child must be water confident with the use of a flotation aid if required. When a child first joins they will be assessed on their current swimming ability and placed in a group with children of similar ability.
There is an annual membership fee due at the beginning of the year or on joining the club, this covers the cost of badges/certificates and gala prizes; this membership fee is £15.00 for one child, £22.50 for families with two children and £30.00 for families with three or more children. The cost is currently ONLY £4.25 per session payable in advance for each school half-term block. As the number of sessions per half-term block varies the cost is currently between £21.25 and £29.75 for a block.
Payment is due by the Wednesday before the start of each block (block 1, one week later), the payment and session dates for 2026 are as follows:

It is important that the club maintain up to date membership / medical information of all swimmers and we ask all parents / guardians to provide this information at the commencement of each membership year. If you have yet to provide this for 2026 please complete this form and return it to the club.
The club currently has a waiting list for some levels of swimming ability. If you would like your child(ren) to join the club please e-mail info@swimforit.org.uk providing: contact details (including phone), child(ren)'s name, year and month of birth and current swimming ability. We will advise you soon whether we have a place available or the child(ren) will be placed on the waiting list until a place becomes available.
